Token of trust

There is a grocer where I do almost all of our shopping near my house. The other day, when I was at the till, I realized that my shopping cost a little bit more than what I had in my purse. The shop girl said, “You can pay the rest next time”. There are some shops that occasionally treat customers with a little something extra, but I had never came across a shop that would also keep your payment until the next time, like some people did in the old days. I was a little embarrassed, but also rather happy to think that there was trust between the shop and me. Of course I went back next day to pay the rest immediately.

Little misses talking serious in front of a bakery.
